About

Welcome to Brookline Street Studio!  Here you will find a line of earth-friendly products with vintage charm and handmade appeal.  Each of our items is individually handmade using antique tools and equipment, and time-honored techniques.

Our stationery is printed on antique letterpress printing presses powered either by hand or by foot. We add a touch of elegance to our Vintage Monogram cards by running them through a Victorian, hand-cranked pinking machine.  Even our ribbon-bound books are dried in antique presses reclaimed from throughout New England.

The images that grace our line of Spiral-bound books come from our library of Victorian advertising cards and illustrations.  We trim the cotton covers with a vintage Singer pinking machine and embellish them with beautiful German glass glitter.  Filled with recycled paper, these books are perfect for everyday notes or a special gift.

We take great care in choosing papers and bookboards that are tree-free-- made from either recycled pulp or alternative fibers--and made in the USA.  We print with biodegradable soy-based inks and even use reclaimed soybean oil to clean our presses!  Our products are responsibly packaged either without bags or in our custom-made biodegradeable cellophane bags (you can actually compost them).

Five percent of our profits are donated to charities that support families and the environment.  Two of our favorites are Habitat for Humanity and the Arbor Day Foundation.

We hope you enjoy our products and we welcome your feedback!
